Microsuction

Microsuction is now available at our Hamilton and Anna Bay clinic. Microsuction is a simple and safe way to remove ear wax build up and clear blockages in the ear canal.

Earwax buildup is a common condition and excessive earwax can cause a number of uncomfortable symptoms including:

• Sudden hearing loss
• Tinnitus (ringing or buzzing in your ear)
• Pressure in your ear
• Earache

If you have a build up of earwax it is important to address the problem as soon as possible as untreated it can lead to more serious issues like ear infections. During your procedure, the clinician uses a long, thin nozzle that fits in your ear to suction out the excess wax and relieve the blockages.
